Winchester Community Music School offers a variety of drop in activities for the community in addition to our regular classes & lessons. Join us for Open Mic Nights, Jam Sessions, Concerts, Broadway Sings, Workshops, and music more. We have activities in all types of music for all ages.

Do you want to hang out and sing along Indian songs? If you are an instrumentalist, we would love your accompaniment. Come join us! Bring your families too! We would like to create a kid friendly Indian music group where kids are welcome to participate.

Music Together is a 45 minute music and movement class for families with children ages newborn through five years.  If you've never tried a class, now is the perfect time.  Come sing, dance and play instruments with us.  Music Together classes are based on the belief that all children are musical and that parental involvement is the key to a successful early childhood music education.

This group is for people interested in playing the guitar but who, for one reason or another, never picked it up and gave it a go. It's a one hour introductory class with other like-minded adults. If you've ever wanted to see if you could play guitar, this MeetUp is totally for you. By the end of the class, you will be playing (and singing if you'd like) a real song!

The Boston Minstrel group envisions a world where interactive singing inspires healing, harmony and hope. For 21 years we have been bringing the transformative power of music to people living in shelters and prisons in the greater Boston area. We are a group of 100+ volunteer singers and musicians who get together for about 40 "songfests" a year. Singles and married singers and musicians are welcome.

One of the most appealing things about drum circles is that they are different every time. Much depends on who comes, and what instruments we use. Participants are welcome to bring their own drums, or use any of mine. My aim as a facilitator is to encourage conversational rhythm and sound.
